The Qassam Tunnel

 

When Muhamad Deif was released from prison in 2000, he revised al-Qassam to a highly strategic military movement. However, Gaza does not have mountains such as Afghanistan, thick forests like Vietnam & wide land like Iraq. 

Among the advantages in Vietnam is that they have forests that are humid and suitable for Kalashnikov. But the US M16 is very fragile when it comes to weather like this. The advantage of Afghanistan, on the other hand, has caves far from the colonialists.

Deif views the tactics introduced by Majhribi Mujahid, Abd Karim Khattabi is a solution. But Gaza needs '2nd city'. Thus, the struggle in Vietnam has been an inspiration for the struggle in Gaza.

Therefore, al-Qassam has appointed Raed al-Attar to be the leader of the tunnel operation. Al-Attar & Abu Syammalah have been conducting this operation for 24 years. They managed to create a tunnel for 500km.

In this tunnel created the 'Qassam 1' rocket, 'Ayyash 250', Syuwaz 1, Syuwaz 4, Yassin 1 & Yassin 105. From this tunnel, Mujahidin also attacked Nahal Oz, Bil'at, Hadar & Shaul. The colonists suffered with the young people who had successfully built this tunnel.

All F-35, F-16 & Apache owned IOF are empty when dealing with tunnel makers whose day they are students at the ivory tower. This tunnel is a symbol of faith & jihad symbols that the colonial is hard to understand, how these fighters are adapted to their 'atmosphere'. 

After 77 days they found a damaged tunnel in Beit Hanoun. But they consider this a great success. It is a tunnel that is not used. While they do not know how many sacrifices have been deployed to build this great tunnel.

In this tunnel flow the blood of martyrs' & heroes. They have submitted everything for the success of this important tunnel. They face all the disadvantages & loads in various forms:

Lack of oxygen, bone and body pain. But the spirit of the glory & grace of God is to hold this tunnel. Therefore, it is not strange when they run out of drinks. However, the water suddenly drew from the tunnel base. Then they said: 'Allahu Akbar!'.

It is not a trouble when you are the enemy, seeing the mujahid appear from the tunnel hole and attacks you and envelops you in fear. Meanwhile, it was shouted from the tunnel: 'Okay, Saad!'. For God's sake, this really happened. True, it is difficult for us to experience this great event.

However, Ammar al-Zabn, Mujahid al-Qassam has a story that has been made a novel: 'al-Zumra'. He tells of their experience of jihad from the tunnel in the al-Asf al-Ma'kul War.

Ketika Muhamad Deif telah dibebaskan dari penjara pada tahun 2000, beliau telah merevolusikan al-Qassam ke sebuah gerakan ketenteraan yang berstrategi tinggi. Namun, Gaza tidak punyai gunung² seperti Afghanistan, hutan tebal macam di Vietnam & tanah luas seperti di Iraq.

Di antara kelebihan di Vietnam ialah di sana mereka punyai hutan belantara yang suhunya lembab serta sesuai dengan Kalashnikov. Tetapi M16 milik US amat rapuh apabila menghadapi cuaca seperti ini. Kelebihan di Afghanistan pula, mereka punyai gua-gua yang jauh dari penjajah.

Deif berpandangan taktik yang dikenalkan oleh Mujahid Maghribi, Abd Karim Khattabi adalah sebagai solusi. Tetapi Gaza perlukan 'Bandar Ke-2'. Maka, Perjuangan di Vietnam telah menjadi ilham buat Perjuangan di Gaza.

Oleh itu, al-Qassam telah melantik Raed al-Attar untuk menjadi ketua bagi Operasi Terowong ini. Al-Attar & Abu Syammalah telah laksanakan operasi ini selama 24 tahun dengan amat cemerlang. Mereka berjaya cipta terowong sejauh 500km.

Di dalam terowong inilah dicipta Roket 'Qassam 1', 'Ayyash 250', Syuwaz 1, Syuwaz 4, Yassin 1 & Yassin 105. Dari terowong inilah juga mujahidin menyerang Nahal Oz, Bil'at, Hadar & Shaul.
Penjajah amat menderita dengan para pemuda yang telah berjaya membina terowong ini.

Segala F-35, F-16 & Apache milik IOF bagaikan kosong apabila berhadapan dengan pembuat terowong yang mana siangnya mereka adalah mahasiswa di menara gading. Terowong ini adalah Simbol Akidah & Simbol Jihad yang sukar difahami oleh penjajah, bagaimana pejuang ini beradaptasi dengan 'suasana' mereka.

Selepas 77 hari mereka jumpa sebuah terowong rosak di Beit Hanoun. Tetapi mereka anggap ini sebagai sebuah kejayaan yang besar. Padahal itu adalah terowong yang sudah tidak digunakan.

Sedangkan mereka tidak tahu berapa banyak pengorbanan yang telah dikerahkan demi membina terowong yang agung ini.

Di terowong inilah mengalirnya darah Syuhada' & Pahlawan. Mereka telah serahkan segalanya demi kejayaan terowong yang penting ini. Mereka harungi segala kekurangan & beban dalam pelbagai bentuk:

Kekurangan oksigen, sakit tulang dan badan. Tetapi semangat akan kemuliaan & rahmat Allah memayungi terowong ini. Maka, tidak pelik apabila mereka kehabisan air minuman. Namun, secara tiba² air memancut dari dasar terowong. Lalu mereka bertakbir: 'Allahu Akbar!'.

Bukanlah satu kepelikan apabila kamu wahai musuh, melihat mujahid muncul dari lubang terowong lalu menyerang kamu serta menyelubungi kamu dengan ketakutan. Sambil itu dilaungkan dari terowong: 'Rejamlah wahai Saad!'. Demi Allah, ini benar-benar berlaku. Benar, susah untuk kita alami peristiwa agung ini.

Namun, Ammar al-Zabn, Mujahid al-Qassam ada meriwayatkan satu kisah yang telah dijadikan novel: 'al-Zumra'. Beliau ceritakan pengalaman mereka berjihad dari terowong pada Perang al-Asf al-Ma'kul.
